I know a woman who has been with a man for 10 years. He’s been married for 9 years and has three kids with his wife. Oh did I tell you that she’s not his wife nor is she the bearer of his children, he met his wife after her and she’s still with him. Now I’m one to judge so I call that pure stupidity. Desperation! How do you go from being first to being second. Now she says “I’m okay with it and I don’t want another man”. Then when she doesn’t get quality time for two weeks at a time she threatens to leave him and he buys her something to butter her up. He calls her when he’s hungry and you know what she does? She goes and cooks. She works two jobs and his wife barely works. She gets once a week and that’s a sometimes when his wife gets EVERYDAY! It can’t be the money that makes her stay because he’s not very well off. He makes enough to take care of his “home”. Then sometimes comes and asks her for money and guess what she does?
I personally would rather be single for the rest of my life than to second to any woman.  This woman is lacking something in the self esteem area. I don’t care how good the sex might be(if that’s what it is) you can get sex from anyone. Too many penis’ in this world to be stuck on one that belongs to someone else. Yes it belongs to the other wife. He said the vows, he signed the papers. SHE HAS HIS LAST NAME! They are a union and she is just the other woman. He obviously didn’t want her that’s why he married another woman. It really simple.

We women have to embrace our strength. A man will only do what you let him. If you let him take advantage he will. If you let anyone take advantage of they will. No one is going to say no when it is so easily given to them. Don’t be the substitute lover!

This Blog can take a turn in any direction that I want it to. Now it’s up to you if you want to turn with me or not. I bring light to anything that I feel needs to be addressed. There are people out there who accept everything they are told to be the solid word. I personally believe in challenging whether it be politics, entertainment or whatever. If something sounds too good to be true then it definitely is too good to be true.

People with intellect are becoming more and more difficult to find. It’s sad when i think of the rights we have as a people going to waste. Do you realize that people had to fight for us to have these privileges? Freedom for All was not always practiced. I hope people open their eyes before it’s too late.

How is a man wearing pants that are tighter than mine? I feel like I’m watching one of those PBS ballet things… Even that would be better than seeing young and some grown ass men walking around in nut huggers. Have you ever seen a girl do the “jumping” dance to get into a tight pair of jeans? Now imagine a guy doing the same dance, troubling image isn’t it? Then they try to hang it off their butts like it’s suppose to look better. Two very wrong ideas!

I suggest you throw on a pair of stilettos and finish off the outfit. Honestly!

I am a New Yorker.  Yes, I was born there, it is what I am homesick for, and it’s where I see myself in the near future.  In New York you adopt a way of living, realities that are very unique to the New York way of life. Which is why it’s difficult to adjust when you’re away from New York for a significant amount of time. Life in Los Angeles is very different from life in New York. Not a day goes by where I’m not made aware that the New York reality that I know and love does not translate outside of the Big Apple.

- The bars/clubs in LA close at 2AM, not even 2AM they let out at 1:30. People start to get ready to go to a club when the sun is still out. In NYC i rarely arrived at a club before 12AM.  In New York you are never short of things to do pre or post 2AM. But in Los Angeles, after 2AM, you have no other choice but to go home.

- You thought NYC’s air was bad. Come and live in LA. I recommend that you stack up on inhalers and humidifiers.

- Public transportation in LA? One word… SUCKS! So you are forced to have a car which you would think is great until you get on the freeway and are stuck in non stop traffic. Traffic in the morning, traffic in the afternoon, traffic in the evening. TRAFFIC! TRAFFIC! TRAFFIC!!!

- Everyone seems to have a gluten allergy in Los Angeles. It must be in the water.

- People will drive from parking lot to parking lot, even if the shops are within a block or two of one another.

- Shopping in LA??? I bet you didn’t know that the infamous Rodeo Dr. is only about two blocks long. Compare that to NYC’s 5th Av.

- The variety of food/restaurants also doesn’t compare to NYC. Pizza sucks. There’s an urban legend about a pizzeria in LA that imports tap water from NYC. I haven’t found it yet.

The above is a text message that I received from a guy that I wasn’t even dating in LA, three days after he met me.  Now I’ve heard some pretty ridiculous things in my time but this makes it to the top 5. Dude really??? Really?  Amongst this top 5 is a guy that told me after one date that I was moving too slow for him and he is a widower who married his now deceased wife after three months of dating her. Also in the top five is a “free agent” for the NFL that I met that got into a serious argument with me, in public, on our first outing because I didn’t pay for his movie ticket.  That kills dating in LA for me. Done! Finito!
